About two years ago I started on this journey to try and understand the golf swing. I was doing this because I wanted to do this to reduce my average score. I had been playing golf on-and-off for most of my life when in 2023 I decided to take the game more seriously. At the beginning of 2024, when my Handicap Index was 10.3, I had my first lesson with Ron. Five months later, I was a 6.1. I had taken lessons before, but with Ron things just clicked for me. He has a way of identifying and explaining simple swing adjustments that lead to disproportionate gains on the course. We’ve now worked on everything from putting, to chipping, to consistent ball striking, to the Driver, and even the mental side of the game. I plan on seeing Ron every month to keep that Index creeping closer to scratch.

Working with Ron has been one of the best experiences of my golfing life. Ron is an expert club builder, as well as an extremely knowledgeable and capable golf instructor. He is an encyclopedia of knowledge when it comes to club specs and construction, and he won't give any work his seal of approval unless it meets his highest standard of quality.
His practical instruction style is suited to all types of players. Rather than breaking down my entire swing and reconstructing it to the "ideal", he assessed my strengths and weaknesses and tailored his teaching to highlight my strengths while mitigating my weaknesses. Since following his instruction, I've learned to minimize my mistakes and play consistent and confident golf. I've still got a long way to go to get my game where I want it, but I know with Ron on my side, I'm closer than ever before.
